Traska Summiteer
So I went ahead and jumped on this one. Pictures on the website and the one I have uploaded do not do this thing justice. This piece is a stunner on the wrist. Went with the yellow variant, turns out is more of a champagne color. (To my benefit. I am a sucker for champagne dials) blue hands. Applied indices. Plenty of lume!! Nice thick coating of BGW9. I set the bracelet to my liking and didn't really care for the way it looked on the metal bracelet. Felt too sporty. Swapped it out for a khaki sail cloth and couldn't be happier. The Miyota movement is running slightly fast at the moment. Will keep it on wrist for about a week and then make an adjustment. Over all fit and finish of this watch has exceeded my expectations. This looks so much better than basic black. I'm not sure how khaki sailcloth is deemed less sporty than a bracelet, but perhaps it has something to do with the dial color.

I guess it isn't as "flashy"? I don't know. I wasn't feeling the bracelet I guess. I'll give it a chance again here in a few days. I feel like the sailcloth is better fitting. Definitely matches the dial. I completely agree. Waaay better than the standard black.

I'm trying to find a tan/and colored strap to match the dial. I don't care if it's nylon, canvas, sailcloth, whatever. Ant sideways?

It was a toss up between this piece and their seafarer modle. I may indeed go and purchase the seafarer here soon. I am really drawn to their orange almost salmon color dial. I'd love to see that color in person.

The colour seems to have a very light almost golden glow on your picture. I'd love to see a few more to get a more varied impression. I quite like where you're going with the sailcloth. I can imagine the right tan or cognac to coffee leather to complement nicely too, especially if slightly distressed/rugged or tumbled.
For me personally, a sailcloth is probably more sporty than the bracelet, but I do think the Summiteer benefits from some strap experimentation, perhaps more so than some other Traska's.
The yellow is different but works very well.
