From my understanding (for the first release of this style of watch) the bezel doesn't move. Just there for aesthetic purposes. Most people wouldn't care for this but I do haha. 

I know right something about this watch draws me in dunno why?? Even on my gmt and divers hardly used the bezels either 😟

Beautiful outside, but an 4R57 underneath. -20/+40 seconds per day just doesn’t do the beauty justice. 
Nice body, meh engine. 

White dial 🤤 

I like some of the things going on with this timepiece: 

1. I always appreciate a power reserve complication. It’s always nice to know, especially if this is not your daily wear and will be one of a few in your rotation. 
    
2. Lately I‘ve been loving date wheels, as opposed to date windows. At a glance you can see how far into the month you are, as opposed to having to do any thinking to interpret how far into the month the 23rd date is. I know…it isn’t that hard. But to represent it visually like this is just great. Likewise I like how the Nomos Metro Neomatik 41 Update does this around the periphery of the dial. 
    

Having said all that - the dial here is a bit busy for me. There are some elements here that are superfluous (like the additional lume plots beneath each hour index - just integrate the lume into the hour index itself!!) 

And yet, I don’t know of many other watches that will give you a date wheel and power reserve complication at this price. So this one is hard to beat. If you like those two complications and the execution by Seiko, then I think this is a winner.

It's too fussy:  too many hands doing too many things in front of a dial with too little space.  It has more writing on the dial than most Rolex.

On the plus side it has drilled lugs, so it has that going for it.

the power reserve indicator is actually annoying me more now that I’m looking at it…it Look‘s like a gmt hand but it isn’t 😵‍💫😟

I love this design language as well. The thing that kept me from pulling the trigger was the 30 & 1 spacing on the date complication. In almost all of the stock photos the hand covers the 1. There’s a reason they show it like that; it looks imbalanced 🥲 

Why the hell are you buying that junk? You know they're going to skimp on the bracelet and that the QC is going to be sketchy. Save some more money and get a decent Swiss watch or a Grand Seiko.

Horologically, I’m getting raptured when the time comes, and the rest of you Tudor and Seiko wearing fools can stay down there and enjoy the blandness.

If your going to buy one and I know you will despite what people say. Why not just but the original release.

Same specs except for the added power reserve BS on the dial, which just over complicates the dial.

I liked the sub dial but I’m not liking the power reserve indicator though… believe it or not I actually tried that Arnie a few weeks ago and I’m surprised it wears comfortably and it looks great in person…I almost bought it!! I was a good boy I didn’t buy any watches that day 😆

Get any of the SNXS7x series instead 😉 These definitely punch way above their weight, and are simply stunning. Do it! Now na!
