My Favorite Design Trait!!

Ok I just want to tell your guys cuz I want to bother you and read useless information 😂!!

I really LOVe applied indices and numerals love them!! It gives the dials more dimension and character in my opinion and when done right it’s super sexy!!!

Ok that’s all I wanted to say! Stay positive and stay sexy … what’s your Fav design trait?

I'm hoping they make a 37/40mm Spirit in this colourway. Would be an instant buy 😬

Absolutely agree, applied looks so much classier and gives better legibility imho too.

My favourite trait is time only dials - really not a fan of date complications, but if it's on there 6 o'clock is the best option, tho the 4.30 position on the new Seiko slim turtle is relatively unobtrusive. ... My most worn is my Willard, which I can easily ignore the date due to ageing eyes - but id much rather it not be there.

Cheers

I go for a 12 3 6 9 dial in terms of design traits which I am drawn to.

Although your #longines is reall well done.

I didn't know myself until I discovered this recently.. Some of my absolute favorites through the times. Do you spot it?

Nicely executed bezels with good action...makes for good fidget toys 😉

·

I love them too, but as someone who collects vintage watches - I fear the day I will find them rattling around inside the case 😬

·

You had me at Longines...

The layout of indices, yes. Triangle, dot, dot, line/bar, dot and so on.

I suddenly realized that this is something I keep getting attracted too 😅

It’s weird right we don’t realize until we really look into it and compare why we are attracted to certain things… we’ll that’s what my shrink said anyway lol

I'm not sold on applied indices , unless it's done amazingly well like on a GS or similar , I think Vertex do some applied block lume which I like. I'm a bit more for painted markers tbh , goes with my tool asthetic 🤷

I’m in your camp, but lugs. Don’t forget beautiful lugs.
