If you live in a big City somewhere between Moskow and L.A. I wouldn't wear them outside.
But if you really want I would recommend the OP-DJ. With the saved money you can get yourself a gun. I recommend the Glock 17 (9mm). These two calibers are these days the best combination in my opinion.
For a daily use watch, I'd probably go with the Sub based on legibility. I have the Sub and a regular OP (not a DJ), and the Sub is much easier to read at a glance than the OP. Granted, my OP has a silver dial, but I find that the hands used on the OP and DJ models tend to blend into any color dial based on their design. I don't have that same issue with my Sub. If you find yourself having to dress up more often than you dress casually, then the DJ might be a better choice, since it is certainly more elegant.

OP datejust for me. The dive bezel is too sporty for daily wear …
A smooth bezel and a date magnifier.
Apart from the wart, the DJ.
I like divers, but if I was going to have just one luxury watch as a daily, it would be something like a DJ or AT.
It’s the datejust for me, the watch for everything👍🏻😉
DJ all day. Crisp and clean.
Submariner. Useful in all situations -- and appropriate even with a tux (thank you James Bond).
datejust for me
DJ
I’d want a datejust but fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet.
of these two the sub - the datejust pictured is too boring.
Both great, Sub first for me.
For daily use?

The sub for me.
Exactly that one without date.
Fits me and my casual way much better.
The sub. It’s nice enough to wear with a business suit but also works for casual settings. Timing bezels are extremely useful, too.
I have owned a sub since 2005 and wear it all the time, just back from a service looks brand new ,so definitely hard wearing
