You only need one! 🤯

My favorites are “only old men buy Rolex” and referring to an automatic watch a guy said “it needs a new battery.”

I hear the battery one quite often! A friend of mine one time was complaining that his watch always stops working and that he will send it to a watchmaker for battery replacement! It was too late to warn him, as he had it already sent in!

All ya watches look the same

“My precious watch is going up in value… it was a good investment.” Then sell it!! Take it off your wrist and sell it! Or shut up and forget about its value!

Honestly, I hear more stupid things from enthusiasts than from non-enthusiasts. Or my expectatiometer needs a recalibration.

I Ask my family friends a lot do they like my watch,and the response is always firstly,I don't like the strap 🙄🤣it's like asking do you like my new shoes an them saying I don't like your socks 🤣

Quite a lot of these observations by non-watch enthusiasts are sensible. Maybe we're the stupid ones?

I have experienced all manner of insults and some compliments with regards to my watches but one of the strangest was the firm belief expressed by a young guy who might not have known my first name but suggested that my watches were signs of my insecurity. Guys who do know my name understand that it is not a sign of any insecure nature but proof of my addiction.

I can’t believe you don’t have an Apple watch dad ….. you said you liked watches ! She is a blonde ……

A few people l know, (my Seamaster-owning Dad included) assume Rolex to be the pinnacle of horology...

Why do you need a watch? If you need to tell time, use your mobile phone.

Wow… It’s amazing how 2 years old nowadays are so in tune with technology that they already know about Apple watches.

The little one is the granddaughter 😂

My daughter is only 2.5 years old now… but I can already agree with that assessment. Lol. But can’t help to love her to death.
