What an Interesting and Odd Design.

Just wanted to see what people think about this design and brand

Supposed to be worn with a long sleeve but looks fairly odd without a long sleeve.

-61mm case diameter

-37mm lug to lug

-13mm thickness

-sapphire coated mineral

-Seiko VK67 Mecha Quartz

-bullhead pusher layout

For $350 usd I believe

I don’t think it’s for me but what you think WC community?

Thanks as always

To be fair, i actually hate it when my watches fully emerge from under the cuff, so it’s a total no for me :-/

·

For the masses? Nope. But for a watch exhibit to show your design chops? Absolutely 💯

·

Hey, in a sea of similar at least they tried something different. I’ll give them that.

·

It's funky enough for me to love lol

·

I LOVE quirky designs but this is a bit too much IMO haha...

I really like the watch face, though..

I'm with you on this -- I see a lot of guys in my industry wear their watches lower deliberately (especially when they're wearing the blingy Rolex's) to show it off more.

Don't like the look at all..

·

It just looks uncomfortable. It looks like the dial sits at the bend in your wrist. But if you strap it higher on the...err...wrist, then you're back at the same place a watch sits originally.

·

Someone posted these a few weeks ago and I remember one comment, that they look as if they should retract back under the cuff…

·

i love it so much

·

Still feeling the same as when the owner @KyleSchut posted 2 or so weeks ago, I like it. If I was the kind of office or management person who wore long sleeve shirts everyday then I would have this on my watch list. 💯

I saw that also 🤣, I responded with the wolverine claws

I think it's an awful concept for a "problem" that doesn't exist.

Generally most watch wearers know how to see the dial of their watch even if it is hidden by the cuff initially. As a labour saving device it's hardly up there with the Spinning Jenny.

The ones that do not know how to I would suggest fall into the "Ruprecht" category.

IIRC the story is that these are an homage to some old racer design whose purpose was to protrude past cuffs of fireproof driving suits or something.

As someone that hates a crown contacting the back of my hand* it's not for me.

*Whenever someone starts babbling about how lug to lug distance is more important that case diameter, I think "yeah, what's that got to do with the watch banging into my hand?"

·

I think the Price is a little high also for Mineral coated crystal and seiko mecha quatz movement.

Ah but this one has the crown up top, nothing but smooth curves caressing your hand.

·

I like the Watch head but not the concept.

·

Cool design! But i rarely wear long sleeve because of hot climate and the diameter too big so i'm not into it

·

I appreciate the unique design, but this would never really suit my lifestyle. I would lose my mind if I saw someone wearing one tho, it would be like spotting a unicorn

·

A gimmick for righties. But some people are righties who also like gimmicks, so there will be some who will like it.

·

I'm really curious with the thought process behind the development of this watch

·

Lovely dial, unusual design. I understand its for those who needs this sort of thing for its intended purpose.

·

Oh. I’m sorry, but I don’t like it. I dislike the shape and derivative dial design. And that bizarre wrist ‘extension’?

I hate being negative, but in fairness, you asked.

No personal attack intended, of course.

·

Well, no you’re not. But there are limits…

Yes! It’s an absurd spy watch. Likely from the kit of Maxwell Smart.

This would be extra ridiculous if worn on the right wrist.

The fact that there is room for a good paragraph of engraving on the front doesn't get mentioned enough.

·

Wouldn’t it be better being spring loaded to shoot out from under the cuff?

James Bond style.

James Bond style.

Exactly. It'd be cool. And if the end stop wasn't fixed properly, it'd go flying off ...

·

Very rare and cool!

Excited for newer update :D How’s to wear it.

·

Interesting/cool as a concept but not a watch for me. Kinda like concept cars… not all designs are intended for production but are meant to push boundaries and expand on ideas. That said, I am sure there are collectors out there who would enjoy having something odd and unconventional to pull out of the box to show off.
