Seiko for me, has a nicer dial. Oris is also to reflective but it looks better made. Better bracelots and bezel. I imagine the Oris is more expensive, but it's also a better brand
Those names, especially the save the whatever from the side of Seiko, are slightly nauseating. I can't wait to see a watch with a name like blue flush to remind me of the serenity and contentment that I feel while gazing at the water in the toilet bowl just after I finish pressing the lever.
But silly names aside, the Seiko has the better dial IMO.
I love my save the ocean watch especially after I upgraded the bracelet. You can probably get save the ocean, an Alpinist and a good dinner out with significant other for the price of the Oris. 👍😊
I like the Dial and have actually tried on that save the ocean. The bracelet is probably better on the Oris tho and I like that the date window on the Oris is chamfered while the Seiko looks like they just punched a hole for the date window and called it a day. Overall, I'd probably go with the Seiko but their both nice.

The Oris is less busy and better for it. The Seiko textured dial is lovely, but get rid of the big X and Automatic and reduce all the wording.
I’ve never liked the case shape of the oris, it looks like a cylinder with lugs as an afterthought. Plus how can you beat the dial on that seiko.

I can see your dilemma. Oris is the better watch but that Seiko dial is special. Which one feels better to wear? I’d go with comfort.

I love Seiko and that dial is nice, but if I'm looking at the complete picture inside and out? Oris wins hands down.
