Hi crunchers, I'm in a headspin at the moment.
My collection has a gap in it following me selling a watch recently and I have no idea what to fill it with.
I want to put the question out to you guys, here are the requirements:
£1000 (+/- 10%)
Automatic
100m water resistance minimum
Ideally swiss as my collection has become really Seiko and microbrand heavy recently.
Please help 😭

Something from Christopher Ward?
Certina ds action diver
Anything from Lorier would work great in any collection

Didnt even think about that thanks :)
Can pick up a used sinn 556 for that and it’s awesome in my opinion the ones with indices and not the numbers like mine are less tool like but it’s the best watch I’ve had at that price point
🔥
Came in to recommend a Christopher Ward or a Lorier.
So at the moment I've got 3 options that are stood out to me:
Yema superman 500 (in house caliber under 1k!)
Doxa sub 200
Citizen challenge diver automatic titanium

That Yema gets my vote 😎
Check out MALM out of Sweden. Swiss movement in the SW200 and really good value
Depending on your tastes and what you already have in your collection you could consider a used mechanical chronograph using a 7750 series movement or used stainless steel sports watch or solid gold dress watch, e.g. vintage Longines or Omega. These were both $350-450 and have 28,800vph movements which were very innovative for the 70s and give a nice smooth sweep. Budget another $200-250 for a service.
Christopher Ward Sealander.
Hamilton khaki field Expedition? Ticks all those boxes.
Tissot seastar 1000 is 1000 feet water resistant sapphire crystal see through back, stainless steel great watch for the amount of money, but that’s just me
