Thank you for saving me the time to post a pic of this one. This is the most egregious example I can think of.
My Hydroconquest has a ton of little scratches but none big enough to be considered “damage”. I think it’s developing the perfect patina.
I’ve worn Rolex and Blancpain through airport security. The value of the watch is not a consideration to me. I haven’t travelled in Asia so I cannot assess the other risks of traveling there.
The no date is the defining feature of this one for me and a major reason for my interest. They don’t make a smaller version with no date.
I thought this was going to be the perfect watch for me. The lugs are too long so I had to pass on it. If they would put this dial configuration on the 39mm, I’d buy my first IWC. I am one of those who feel they are over rated in general and price themselves out of my consideration but I might give them a try if I find a model that appeals to me. And fits me.
