Sell/ keep

This was one of ‘grail’ watches watching Adrian barker as a Gada watch. It seems to be too expensive to go travelling to Asia or through security

They're built for exploration, but it is your watch, I say keep it, if it's a grail, it's a grail. Maybe buy a cheaper watch that you're not worried about for travelling?

I’ve worn Rolex and Blancpain through airport security. The value of the watch is not a consideration to me. I haven’t travelled in Asia so I cannot assess the other risks of traveling there.

Depends where in Asia... if it's South Korea or Japan, no problems imho... either way, I've got the 226570 and I think it's a fantastic watch! If it's a "grail" I would keep it. Perhaps buy a Tudor Ranger and travel around with that.

What part of Asia are you travelling to? If Japan, South Korea or Singapore, then it’s pretty safe. (I can’t speak about other countries as I’ve never been to.)

Either way, I don’t really see why a trip should have any influence on whether you keep or sell the watch…..

Keep it and get a cheaper one for travelling. I’ve just bought a CW for going on holidays incase of damage or stolen

Yes the Bel Canto isn’t cheap but I bought a c60 Atoll and it was less than £800, I know that’s not exactly cheap but it’s not Rolex money
