One more into the fray.

There’s been a few Murph 38 owners showing off their new Uncle bracelets lately. It’s my turn now.

First impressions are that it looks fantastic. It’s a pretty dramatic taper that I wasn’t really looking at in the specs. I like that they even included an extra clasp.

The one downside is that I find the edges pretty sharp. I may have to give it a filing job to some of the sharpest areas. But overall it’s a positive first impression.

Looks great Dave. The oyster style/three link suits it well.

Somehow the bracelets transform these murphs. I would never have thought to put one on a bracelet because they look so good on straps but every one I’ve seen here is incredible.

The Uncle bracelets aren’t perfect. I’ve got a Holzer that I pair with my speedmaster that has a terrible clasp but they wear so beautifully that I don’t care.

Beautiful watch, the Murph is such a great design. The movie tie-in is very cool but I think it’s underrated in the sense, it’s a great watch even without the Interstellar connection.

I think the Murph looks best on the factory leather strap. would never have given thought to it being on a bracelet.

I purchased both the senator (oyster) and executive (jubilee) bracelets for my 38mm Murph. I think it looks best on the senator, but the larger links don’t allow as precise of a fit as the smaller links of the executive. These are economical bracelets and I think you have to expect the finish isn’t going to be perfect. I own a real jubilee and oyster and their finsh is far superior but they also cost 15x more! As other have eluded, this watch is a strap monster. It looks good on its original leather strap, on NATOs, rubber, as well as these custom fitted bracelets.

My first big boy watch a long time ago was a 36mm Explorer which my wife confiscated for her own use. As soon as I saw the Murph, I knew it had to be on a bracelet. It very much has the same vibe.

I put the 42mm version on a bracelet and it looked amazing but still too long in the lugs. I traded it but I started looking for a bracelet for the 38mm as soon as I bought it.

I pretty much remove every factory Hamilton strap as soon as I get one. I don’t think Hamilton uses very good straps. I originally kept the Murph on a very soft and supple custom leather strap.

I considered the executive but I think the Murph takes on a rough and tumble, purposeful persona on the senator. I love how it looks right now. I’m even going to wear it two days in a row!!!

On my 8” wrist I had to move the links in on the micro adjust to its shortest position but didn’t have to remove any links. Uncle doesn’t skimp on the size of his bracelets. Love the tool watch vibe on this bracelet.
