Thanks for replying, unfortunately I've known a couple of people who had watches with that movements and had issues with them(they could have just been incredibly unlucky) so I must admit I have somewhat of an unconscious bias against them.

I have a Citizen Promaster Challenge diver (I think it's a re-issue/imagination of an earlier model) and it has Mercedes hands(probably because a lot of brands were trying to cash in on the popularity of the Rolex divers at the time). I love how the light plays on it!
