Personally I prefer a older school ascetic, domed crystals and cream/beige dials. I have a larger then normal wrist so while 38mm watches fit they look kind of goofy. That being said they make me happy, I like all the character older watches have. I dont have a movment bias or preference they all fascinate, and I think that is where my love of watches come from, the machinical side of things just wows me.
I was actually planning to learn to repair watches on my own, I have some cheaper specimens I will practice on. The Mechanics fascinate me, and when I am fascinated by somthing I try my very best to learn everything about them.
I 100% will, especially since I just got paid! And not to mention Christmas is right around the corner 😁
