Given what my personal ownership experience has been, my Steeldive watches and my San Martins (one bronze 😍) have all been outstanding. I have two Pagani Designs, one with the new NH34 GMT movement, and both extremely good examples of the brand's best work. They both keep time like they were properly regulated and all of them are extremely well finished and aligned. Given that I didn't pay more than $165 Canadian for any of them, I doubt that I could get better from Seiko directly for a similar investment.

I think you may just be right! I'm happy with mine either way 😎

That's one cool classic Amfibia! Nice to see another Vostok owner. They're excellent everyday tool watches. I got the bug hard and don't regret it for a moment. Great watch!
