San Martin SN0001-LJM

I just received my new San Martin diver and I'm pretty happy about it! It's powered by a Seiko VS37 solar quartz movement and has a whopping 47mm case diameter. Everything is signed, fit and finish is outstanding and the dial has "LJM" on it, a reference to Liao Jia Ming, the founder of the company.

It's a bit of an odd choice, but I like it. It's comfortable, supremely legible and has insanely good lume. It was also discounted 57% when I ordered it a couple of weeks ago, which made it impossible to pass up. I needed another quartz tool watch for carefree every day and outdoor use. 😁

Thank you, John! It certainly never seems like a bad move to pick up a San Martin. These LJMs are really uncommon though, and I have never seen a review of one. Hard to go wrong with SM and a Seiko quartz novembre in one watch!

I like it and my wife told me to buy it because, and I quote, I deserve to treat myself. That's all that really matters! 😎

I only found out during a random Google search for information or reviews on the watch. It was actually driving me a bit crazy wondering.

There was a Reddit thread from a few years ago and the man himself was chatting with fans and customers. He introduced himself and explained the initials early on.
