Is it specifically the "Moonwatch" version of the Speedmaster you aren't bonding with?
Omega Speedmasters come in an enormous variety of styles, sizes and colours that, other than being chronographs, are quite distinct from one another.
There's a distinction between "reviewing" and "showcasing" watches; I find many YouTube watch videos and blog posts label themselves as the former but are actually the latter.
A proper -review- is a critical assessment and should include an element of personal opinion - positive and negative - and not simply a spec list and history lesson.
It's important to keep in mind the motivation behind the production of the videos as they may be more business/click driven versus enthusiast/hobby driven.
For those unaware, the cheapest Breitling with the B01 movement these Tudors share is approaching twice the cost.
Anyone care to comment on Tudor versus Breitling brand desirability?
Tudor is arguably near/at the top for all watch brands in terms of general buzz/hype and media coverage. Whereas Breitling is the bigger legacy brand that has really turned itself around in the last 5 years.
One thing I've learned since joining this hobby: there is ZERO correlation between watch taste and fashion sense. The most expensive and desirable watches can and do often appear on people who are... fashion challenged.
