Most Perceived Masculine & Feminine Watch Brands

Of the popular community watch brands (ie. not low-end fashion brands), what are your nominees for Most Male and Most Female in terms of general gender association, perception or observation?

For Men, I will nominate SINN

For Female, I will nominate CARTIER

I'm aware both brands offer very good Men's and Women's products. And as a male, I would still proudly wear a Santos or Tank.

Anecdotally, I have never seen a Sinn on a woman in public or social media, and I see Cartier on far more women than men; just my own observations.

And by the way, I would say the Apple Watch is almost exactly gender neutral.

I have no opinion about which watches can be associated with women, but I have yet to see one wearing a Marathon and just a quick look at the SAR series is enough to understand why.

·

I would say G Shock for most masculine brand, and I have no idea about most feminine but I could see it being Cartier.

·

Cartier is definitely catering to the ladies. They market to them almost exclusively.

The jewelry to watch progression is their bread and butter.

·

I own several Cartiers and one Sinn. Not sure there’s much relevance here apart from trying to pigeon hole watch brands.

Shout out to all the women wearing Sinn and all the men wearing Cartier.

Here's M. Santos-Dumont and his moustache looking nice and stereotypically feminine.

Cartier or Rolex for women, G Shock for men

🤔 I'd say apple watch for men...

And apple watches for women...

Because honestly it's 98% of what I see people wearing these days.

The 2%left are a mix of Garmin fitbits training watches.

Probably casio gshock for men and casio vintage for women? Do we really see alot of other watches in the general population?

Honestly the others I see on wrists can't even put a brand name because I've never seen that model before.

Maybe it's my perception but it's more about colors of dials maybe more then some brands in particular?
