The Rolex 1908 is probably one of my most coveted watches to chase... (It'll be my life's achievement to actually get one 🤦)

I am not sure I have an ultimate watch. That being said there are a number of watches outside my reach that I like.
BTW I think the 1908 is a fantastic looking watch.
As much as I’ve been annoyed by Rolex, a two tone champagne sky dweller, or that new rose gold one.

I fell in love with those watches after seeing one in the movie The Thomas Crown Affair.

I got a earful last year when I bought a watch from Costco and that was only a Captain Cook. I would fear for my life If I bought a Reverso.

The 1908 is a great looking watch. I might grab an ALS Zeitwerk or maybe a VC Overseas (if they made a slightly smaller size that still looks like the 41mm version) as my absolute grail watch. Ask me again in a month and the answer might be totally different though 😅
