I can't seem to figure out why the day and date wheels aren't matching when I set this new watch I got. The day doesn't turn over when the date does. So it'll display that Tuesday, for example is the first and the second....
I don't know if this is legible, but this is the setting info from the Citizen website. I think if you set the date between certain times of the night it will cause it to be out of synch. Check the Citizen site to see the PDF for your model if this is illegible. Hope this helps.

Thanks! Who could guess I didn't read the damn instructions. "I know how to set a watch"
Yes I really had to cycle the watch for like 72 hours just to kind of get the pattern down of how the date and day wheel turn and I think I have it set right now
Run the hands around the dial and make everything click over to the next day. Then set the hands to 12 Noon and set the date as per normal.
It's very common for watch manufacturers to advise not setting the date between 9pm and 3am due to potential damage or incorrect function. I hope yours is okay! 👍

Divers and Fields for me at the moment, and that Garrison is a bit of class. Thanks for the photos mate.
The garrison wears like a dream on my watch. It's my choice when I need quartz accurate but an analog look.
⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
NEVER set your date in the danger zone which is usually between 10pm and 3am.
It may sound counter intuitive, but set the time to noon
Set the date for the previous day
Advance the time and your date and day should be good 👍🏾

I have no arguments with that
