I did really well at school but that didn't help me much in working life....it must have been me, not the profession i chose. And so i haven't made bags & bags of money..... born in 1968, not exactly cash-strapped but without a doubt, the likes of Omega, Longines & Tissot, new or used, are just way beyond my capacity, however, permitted by the country i am now living in & being trully blessed, i was as recent as covid's able to start collecting some absolute genuine & original vintage Seiko & Citizen watches in absolute immaculate conditions. For me nostalga is everything in this collection - just from looking at every single watch & its details i get this beautiful sense of "re-living the eras of the 70s & the 80s".
What a smart looking watch & whats that interesting colour of the dial ..... battleship blue ? A true vintage colour on a vintage watch. I thought this colour usually painted on the old 1960s & 1970s Vespa & Lambretta scooters.
This Bulova will beat a GS "any time any place any where" in a fight for sweeping smoothness & it costs a fraction of a GS' cost....and then a GS' maintenance costs an-arm-and-a-leg, literally !! While the Bulova is maintenance free. Well done Bulova.
I can feel it right into the core ..huge satisfaction !!.. after the restoration works & then to have this beautiful time piece on the wrist. Looks like a job well done....the LCD panel is very legible, every LCD segment is razor sharp & hopefully all pushers are nice & springy..... oh last but not least, a brand new case's sealant ring installed.
