I did really well at school but that didn't help me much in working life....it must have been me, not the profession i chose. And so i haven't made bags & bags of money..... born in 1968, not exactly cash-strapped but without a doubt, the likes of Omega, Longines & Tissot, new or used, are just way beyond my capacity, however, permitted by the country i am now living in & being trully blessed, i was as recent as covid's able to start collecting some absolute genuine & original vintage Seiko & Citizen watches in absolute immaculate conditions. For me nostalga is everything in this collection - just from looking at every single watch & its details i get this beautiful sense of "re-living the eras of the 70s & the 80s".
Indeed, 45 yrs on and the build quality is still as good as it was from day one...... just look at how that seconds hand hits all the markers - smack on the mark. What a wonder.
Beautiful two tone greens... and look at that, a small detail, but it makes a difference - a frame around the day-date window ! Feels like beauty in its completeness.
Maaaaaaaaan theres only 01 word for it - stunning. The beautiful unique vintage case shape, the dials contrast & the yellow coloured hands ..... all in immaculate conditions, after all these years.
That is a stunner isnt eh... and look at that.... it hits the 37th marker spot on !!!! ... and knowing the Casio Duro's i m 101% confident it will hit other 59 markers equally spot on !!!
