It’s the bambino for me!

I don't think that either of your watches are "minimalist" as I understand the term. They have copious text, numbered indices (two different sets of numbers with the Max Bill), date complications, and chapter rings. The Orient has Roman numerals and several fonts.

Minimalism can be like the Movado Museum Watch (no indices, just a diamond), or just indices:

This is as close as I get. I am not sure that I would call it minimalist.

Very nice, love the strap!!😊

Thanks. There was someone yesterday who said that black dials and brown straps clash. I don't know what I could put on this. I think a black strap would be too severe.

Whoever said that must be speaking for themselves. I love that strap with the black dial and gold case & indices😎 That’s why I love watches, everything is relative.😊

Brown and gold tones match, even if the dial was neon pink, the gold I think will always stand out. That's a classy watch.

I would agree however true minimalist is like a Movado or one of my favs, this very special (and expensive) Credor:

... and the Mrs, though I think she cheats here because she never reads her own tiny dials and always ask me for the time

Yes I made the comment that I don't think they work, but I'm happy to be corrected with yours. I agree that a black strap could make it a bit harsh 👍

Love this thread… my two most minimal watches (I have a thing for sterile dials)

Mondaine SBB 125

& Archimede Flieger 42H Titanium (the blued hands have an incredible texture under a loupe)

My Sekonda on a red strap (total strap monster)

This is probably my most minimalistic watch. Simple no date Seamaster. Not much text. Nothing exiting in the dial, just a plain white surface combined with gold indicis. Less is more.

Here's the best I've got:

More Bauhaus than minimalist for this one.

I'm liking the Mondaine the more times I see it, I've toyed with getting the stop2go wall clock.

Oh-My!!! I love this😍

Nice touch with that bezel😏👌

Half amazed that no one has put up a Movado Museum….then the other half realizes that we’re all watch nerds and probably don’t own a quartz Movado.

It’s the bambino for me!

Yes, I’d say this beauty is more minimalist than my bambino. A lovely watch.

Love the case on this watch. I think this would look fabulous on a Bonklip.😊

It's a Chinese brand called Merkur. You can find them on Ali Express or they also have their own website.
