Well this was unexpected
Stoppped by the local watch store a couple days with my wife just for fun. I said I wasn’t going to buy any watches for quite a while since I’m happy with that I have now. Unfortunately for my wallet (my wife’s, actually) they had this beautiful Santos, the watch I had been admiring from afar since I first got into watches.
We actually left without buying it initially, but yesterday my wife said she called the shop to ask them to hold it and she was going to get it for me today. I would have never bought this for myself, but my wife is amazing and I’m a really lucky guy. I don’t think I’ve ever put on a more perfectly fitting watch.

Thanks! Totally agree. As much I like the movement and water resistance of the modern Santos, this one is just perfect (also far less expensive lol).
The best Santos by a country mile. Simple, understated, classic design that'll never tire. I bought one in 1999 & I felt ten feet tall wearing it 😎

I think this is a watch that all enthusiasts want at some point in their journey, myself included. We may be married to the same woman because my wife bought me a Rolex when I didn’t think I should spend that much money on myself. Haha!
