Not often, but at my last shooting match, a guy was sporting some horribly garish thing - fake gold with a HUGE lime green dial. Probably one of the worst things I've ever seen on someone's wrist. I just tried not to look at it. 😉🤣
I love the symmetrical look of a no-date...but I find I use the date function a LOT in my everyday life. So no-date is fine for a "special occasion" watch but a date complication is a necessity for my everyday piece.
That's a good question. I had the same watch, purchased the same year. I wore it for 20 years, and only had it serviced once in 2005 before selling it, sadly, in 2008.
