i made the mistake of getting the large Santos instead of the medium. i still love my large Santos but kinda wish i had gotten the medium instead. i know, it’s a different watch and shape but going forward i will err on getting the smaller one over the larger one. also, the medium Santos is time only (no date) which i prefer now. anyway, my point is, go for the large Tank, and not the XL. it’s a sleeker and dressier look. the XL is too large for that watch.

i highly recommend trying on a bunch of different straps with the watch. it’s a strap monster and looks good with a lot of different styles. don’t get me wrong i love The Strap Tailor one that it comes with but it’s a fun one to style with different options. i swapped in a different colour suede strap here in this photo (a darker brown suede than the OEM strap) and i think it looks even better.
the Solar Beat is only available in “large” and “small”. i’m wearing the large on my 6.75” wrist. and my wife is wearing the small.
