Cartier Tank Must SolarBeat Bracelet Options
Hi everyone. I just wanted to tap into people's insights regarding possible bracelet options for the SolarBeat Large.
I recently purchased this Tank as a birthday gift for my mom, you see. While the SolarBeat only comes with a vegan leather strap, she always prefers bracelets.
When I inquired the sales rep if I could just purchase the H-link bracelet of the regular quartz Tank, she said that they're not compatible.
However, I've come across some articles and photos where they were able to fit the OEM bracelet just fine. If anyone can confirm that it's doable, that would be greatly appreciated.
I understand it'll cost a lot plus there's another waiting time for the Cartier bracelet, so any additional info about what price and how long I should expect if I were to go this route would be appreciated as well.
That said, I'm also considering third-parties.
I've heard great things about Forstner but I'm not quite sure which of their bracelet options are compatible for the tank. Aside from that, I've seen the bracelet from YourTerrific which also looks good.
If there are other places or brands I can look into, do let me know and any personal experiences that you can share about them is always welcomed. Thank you!

Ask the boutique to order you the bracelet for the large or medium tank based on the size in your hand. They are available and compatible
my wife and i have both have the Tank Solar Beat. hers in medium and mine in large. i asked our Sales Associate from the maison to help us get the bracelet from the regular Tank for my wife’s Solar Beat. it was pricey and took a while to acquire but it definitely is compatible.
i also got a grey suede strap for mine. i like it a lot. it dresses down the watch a lot and makes it less formal looking. i wear it with shorts and runners in the summer and it looks great.
It’s not that they aren’t compatible with the Tank Solar Beat but I assume that after a lot of tests there were too many accidents outside the acceptable scope defined by Cartier so they decided not to offer other strap options to prevent too many CS complaints. Usually there are a lot of R&D that goes into these new product launches so if it is not available, i would be very careful.
I got the beads of rice bracelet (etsy seller) that YourTerrific mentioned once and I hated the bracelet. The clasp was so thin and cheap. Maybe go for a mesh one? I feel like the quartz bracelet has to be compatible… it’s the same case.

the Solar Beat is only available in “large” and “small”. i’m wearing the large on my 6.75” wrist. and my wife is wearing the small.

i made the mistake of getting the large Santos instead of the medium. i still love my large Santos but kinda wish i had gotten the medium instead. i know, it’s a different watch and shape but going forward i will err on getting the smaller one over the larger one. also, the medium Santos is time only (no date) which i prefer now. anyway, my point is, go for the large Tank, and not the XL. it’s a sleeker and dressier look. the XL is too large for that watch.

Yes, I'm definitely preparing myself for the cost and wait time but seeing it on your wife's wrist is stunning.
Same goes for your grey suede strap recommendation. I actually have a thing for grey suede. Literally all my watches have one paired with them. I was just pleasantly surprised how good it looks with the Tank. Seems like anything goes well with this watch.

Thanks for the heads up. I've also read from Watchuseek that it even scratched the lugs a bit due to poor fit. I'll probably steer clear from this one. There are others to choose from.
I've seen a video of the tank paired with a mesh and it looks good too. The watch is such a strap monster.
