Thank you for your thoughts! And you hit some good points. I have a Speedy which also fullfill that role…but this is more of a pure dresser and it’s something not everyone has:) Selling it is an option but to be honest; there is no box or papers and I have no idea when or if it ever been serviced. So I would not get a lot of money out of it. This would be the next one on my list to get a service. It will remain in my collection even if I use it just a few times in a year:)
Sub no date for me. But honestly with all this fuss about the Brand I rather buy a 39 Pelagos and a Ranger for that (Retailprice) money. And feel way more comfortable actually wearing a Tudor in public and worries about scratching that damn thing;)
I understand your opinion better now. And I agree partially that Dive watches are getting too much attention and for many a field watch would be a even better fitt. I am no more a newby to watch collecting and know what works for me. This Tudo BB has been nothing but a joy for me. I cannot say anything bad about quality issues on Tudor watches, quite the opposit, it works so good. Every watch brand has sometimes quality issues, no matter the price. My Omega came directly from a Omega Service and had to go right back to them. Now do I say Omega has quality issues?! No, it happens with every brand. These are mechanical watches…it can always happen. If you look at details like ceramics balls on the clas from Tudor you will see that you get a lot for your money. I’ll keep the BB by the way:)
