I saw that planet ocean in a store window the other day and it looked really good. Darker than I was excepting. If it really looks like that in natural light then it’s a really well done planet ocean. Probably the best in a decade

I’d say go steel, but brush the center links. Then also buy the rubber after because that looks great too

I made it to Florence briefly, and went to the Panerai store. I was there looking at apartments to buy. Haven’t found the right one yet, but hopefully soon

Here was mine for reference it definitely wears pretty small. After this I had a 36 op with a maxi case that filled out the wrist more. Now I wear a BB54 because I needed the timing bezel, but still wanted an authentic vintage feel

The omega looks great. I’ve owned that explorer in the past but I’ve always been curious about the omega in that white dial spec. I seemed to have good memories when I owned my 114270, but I think both are good options. I think it depends how much you value elapsed time and a date, or if the explorer makes up for that in versatility

I might have to agree with you there actually. I’ve never tried a ploprof on because I always figured it’s incompatible with my wrist size, but I love the design. I think the nailed the 70th anniversary one too

BB54 on ice

Got it back on braclet today. I was inspired after a friend got a Rolex Submariner 14060M. Ended up out on a frozen lake with it.
