IWC 3706

After the Oyster Perpetual, I realized that I needed something that could track elapsed time. I had just gotten into 90s IWC at this point, and this seemed to give me that flieger feel with tons of functionality and utility in a very compact size. This one has more field watch DNA than modern IWC chronographs. I bought it before the Mark XV, and it would later be part of the inspiration for that watch. Looking back I wish I had tried more straps with it before I let it go. However, the bracelet was amazing. I let it go because I realized that although chronographs are useful, I was too afraid of jumping in water without screw down pushers, and that it was probably time for me to turn my attention to a diver.
