Omega 70th anniversary

Saw these today in a store window for the first time. I’ve been pining after this 39.5 for a while. I think it might be the best P.O. omegas made since the original

May I ask if you tried it on ? Was it sized ? What are your thoughts about the back ? Looks like a shiny bezel ? Thanks

The anniversary blue color way across the whole Seamaster range was an awesome release. I liked the color of the Ploprof the best.

Unfortunately I didn’t have time to go try it on. I was only in Parma, where I saw it, for the day, and I was with people who don’t understand my watch addiction. Because of that, I just took a picture of it quickly, and tried to keep the excitement to myself. However, from the videos I’ve seen I think the back engraving looks pretty cool. In the store window the dial looked darker than expected and the lume color less noticeable which are positives, but I didn’t get to play around with it in different lights so hard to say for sure.

I might have to agree with you there actually. I’ve never tried a ploprof on because I always figured it’s incompatible with my wrist size, but I love the design. I think the nailed the 70th anniversary one too

Whilst I was on the waiting list for the Ultra Deep I had the opportunity to buy the Planet Ocean (39.5). When I tried it, it was too small for my 7.5" wrist. However wife was with me and I ended up buying it for her, as it looked amazing on her wrist!

I now have the Ultra Deep and absolutely love it. It's a beast of watch.
