1WC: Arbitrary Rule Change
Before we get to the rule change let's pour one out for @Davemcc who put up a good fight before the inevitable pull of his collection did him in. It wasn't a lack of strap changes, his bracelet was just fine. Great watch, good run.
I will be upfront that the reason for the rule changes is that we need to winnow the field. I frankly thought that there would be fewer than the Elite Eight who are still around. This rule is a chance to make a mistake and get sloppy (sort of like selling too many watches and then not having the minimum, if that sort of thing happens).
This new rule starts tomorrow on Monday, July 18, 2022. Your WRUW picture must be in compliance. One of the problems with the 1WC WRUW pictures is their inevitable sameness: same watch, same wrist. Boring.
So, let's spice it up using @Deeperblue 's photo theme thing. Each day for the next week you must incorporate an object into your WRUW picture. There is no extra credit for cleverness, but forget, and the swag won't be yours. The mandatory list:
Monday: a hammer;
Tuesday: a flower;
Wednesday: a magazine (remember those?);
Thursday: a potted plant (in Australia these are called "pot plants" which I find endlessly amusing);
Friday: a carbonated beverage;
Saturday: an insect;
Sunday: a food that is not native to your country of origin (a burrito in Canada for example, or for the UK food with flavor).
Too much? I gave it to you in advance so that you can plan. If anything, it's too easy.

I've found that if I reply to a WRUW comment with a gif or pic and then post my WRUW, the reply gets honored as my shot for the day

Some of these should be interesting to photograph though, photography’s not my strongest point but I do love a challenge.
Shame Dave’s Rolex will be missing from the line up, I looked forward to seeing what new coffee mug he had on hand every day, although he never shared his Rolex mug with us, I’m sure he has one somewhere at home 😉

Okay just so were clear here and I'm not disqualified for uploading on what some might think is the wrong day. I've come to far in this somewhat ridiculous challenge now to be thrown out on a technicality relating to different time zones.
Your Monday is my Tuesday, so I've updated my wrist shot for today to include one of the most obscure items you could think of, a hammer. I think that's why I like this one so much 🤣
Your Tuesday in my Wednesday, so a flower, a pretty universal item and straight forward, unless it has some other strange and obscure meaning in the USA. One never knows with you people 🧐 Like Dogging in the UK is some perverted act, whereas in Australia it is a person who assists a crane operator to load and unload heavy items, bloody poms, trust them to think of something filthy 🤣
Your Wednesday is my Thursday, so a magazine. Yes we still have these accent items, there printed on paper, taken from one the worlds most harvested resources and will slowly go the way of the Dodo bird. Man is such a primitive species in itself, no foresight 🦍
Your Thursday is my Friday, so a Pot Plant as it's actually termed and correct, potted plant, what is that, did the plant climb into the pot itself or is it potty as in mad 🤪
Your Friday is my Saturday, so a soft drink, is I guess what your referring to here🥤It's sweet as f#%k with enough sugar to kill a polar bear and also has a lot of bubbles in it, much like beer but with no benefits whatsoever except rot your teeth and give you diabetes 💯
Your Saturday is my Sunday, so an insect. Do bed bugs count or should I search for a Funnel Web spider or Red Back spider or will I be disqualified because it's technically an Arachnid and not a bug? 🕷 Or should I search for a concealed microphone planted somewhere in Parliament House spying on the Chines Ambassador about their recent interest in Fiji 🎙
Last but not least. Your Sunday is my Monday, and the last challenge, a food item that is not native to your country. That's probably the easiest of them all 💯 Apart from Kangaroo or Emu meat, which would probably upset some people if I did eat such items and the yummy Witchetty grub the Aboriginals find a delicacy 🐛, which in fact tastes like Peanut Butter, everything else is not native to Australia. We live in a very multi cultural country so even the good old Fish'n'Chips was imported from England. So guess what kids, it's Fish'n'Chips or Pizza for dinner 🐠 🍕
Well I hope that is all clear and unambiguous for everyone, especially our mediator Aurelian, who is doing a sterling job adjudicating the competition thus far.
