Zombie 🧟 apocalypse is upon us, what watch would wear while leaving the rest of your collection??
Ok, I am watching ‘The night eats the world’ (zombie apocalypse movie) and it got me thinking. If there were a zombie apocalypse, what watch would you want to wear while forsaking the rest of your collection? Mine would be a G-Shock, but which one I am not sure. Either my 2100 series or Frogman. Solar power is a must, and the build quality is always assured with a G. But crunchers, what would you choose??

K this has been asked many times…but it’s fun. There is only one watch, others are inferior. Accurate to 1 seconds per year and light powered so wear this and be the King of time. VERY important if we need to time when the zombie go to sleep and waken up! You will need a side kick with a G-shock with a timer but this will also need to be solar powered!

You are assuming cities won’t be nuked in the beginning stages, blocking the sun for 18 months. We will need to go underground - use thermal heat sources.
I'm Schwartzkopfing the zombie apocalypse. My GW-M5610U on one wrist and my Sinn 857 UTC VFR on the other.
And since we're on the topic, I would like to check out the new, thinner rangeman. Not sure if I could pull that off, but is a Zombie really going to point out my watch is too big for my wrist before he eats it?

That watch will become the time version of the Platinum Prototype of Kilogram when all the atomic clocks stop working.
Not that it would matter as I am so old and fat that I would become another zombie relatively quickly, but the G Shock Square Solar as mentioned by others seems an obvious choice (certainly will last as long as you and plenty of abandoned Walmarts, Targets etc. to find replacements in the event the battery eventually kicks the bucket). I'll cheat and add a second more durable timepiece (not a watch but a Nomos sundial) for the 10-20 years after when the batteries on even a solar G Shock or the mechanical watch would wear out/ need service.
