Any Watches Left?

So i'm left handed and I wear my watch on my right hand.

Now I know that there are not many left crowned watches but the only "good" ones could find in the sub 1000$ budget are the Citizen Promasters and the Sericas.

Are there any watches left??

Please enlighten me

Marathon has a few destro models though those can also get up there in price. It's a style of watch that I can build pretty easily, especially if you didn't want a date window.

Yay, we have finally found someone that the Citizen NY0040-09E Promaster was built for. Most of us just find it quirky, difficult and just inconvenient!

Sinn haas a few destro cases in their catalog that are worth looking into especially on the used market

There are some Chinese options on Ali that may not meet the "good" requirement and there are some right on the cusp of your price range - Laco Flieger Pro, Hamilton X-Wind, Yema Superman, Subdelta Ace - that you might be able to find discounted or lightly used.

If mechaquartz is good check out Boldr's Venture Field Medic II Destro.

Fellow lefty here. Don't limit yourself to watches with left hand drive. I actually like that the crown is more protected and never wind my watches while wearing them anyways. And if it's not a screw down crown even that is possible.

·

WMT Watches also makes some left hand drive models. Can’t speak for their quality as I haven’t seen one in the metal but they’re looks/vintage inspired design (homage) is very nice, and they are affordable.

I've also been in this situation. Jomashop has a weird and interesting assortment of search results: https://www.jomashop.com/search?q=lefty

Same here. You're supposed to take your watch off to wind / adjust, anyway.

Tudor do a Left Hand Pelagos…

·

Another possibility is wearing a hand neutral watch, like a bullhead for example. Citizen, Scudera and even Omega have some very interesting bullhead models.

In addition to the Sinn watches posted above (all excellent) the U50 professional moves the crown to the left side of the case at 10:30 I believe. FWIW I also wear on my right wrist and prefer the crown on the 3 o’clock side so it doesn’t interfere with wrist movement.

Yah I know! This is actually my grail watch. Hope someday to get it🙏

I'm also left handed and wear my watch on my right hand.. however I like the fact that the crown doesn't dig into my wrist.. I think I would a lefty watch might be uncomfortable.

·

Everything Serica makes can be ordered with the crown at 9 or 3.

·

Wise does destro pieces as well. Don't own one but have heard only good things about them. They also do a diver using 904 stainless steel. Here's a link

Interestingly, I’m left handed but wear my watch on my left hand. It doesn’t bug me too much wearing my watch on my dominante hand. But, if I was to suggest a LHD how about a homage to the Rolex LHD GMT? Invicta and a few micro brands make them for cheap!

You beat me to it...

Yema makes a LH Superman Destro

Sinn makes quite a few models with crown on left. They are not really trying to cater for left-handed market though😂 It is designed so that the crown doesn’t interfere with your left wrist. That’s why those models only have left version.

I have EZM3 with crown on left and love it, except when setting time/date, which is a bit difficult. It works the same if you wear right-handed watch on right wrist, which may be a pro depending on what you do with them.
