Thank you also for bringing this watch to my attention. For quite some time I have been looking for a 'adventure / field-type' of a watch to add to my 'watches I'm interested to acquire'-list. Tudor Ranger, Rolex Explorer etc. are there, but they don't excite me. This one does - it's been built by Sinn, right?

I actually don't know if this exact model was built by Sinn but they definitely have shared history. Prior B&R models said by "Sinn" but this model didn't so it could have been their ealier models when they were just starting to branch out from Sinn. I own another model that takes much from Sinn design heritage fro the same time era that I'll post in the near future.

To be honest I'm not 100% sure but if it's sapphire great, if not it's not a deal breaker at least to me.
