The Red Collection
Red is my color. Given a choice, I'll almost always choose red. But red watches are not all that easy to come by, so for a long time I didn't have my. I just got the Sartory Billard, in the middle, which I've posted a number of times now. I figure this now constitutes a subcollection, so here it is. The G-Shock and the Seiko came first. I was sort of interested in a CasiOak, so when I saw the red, I thought, that's the one. I like and have several Seiko Presages, so might as well get the red one too. Then came the Grand Seiko, my fourth. I didn't need another one (not that I regret it). But they released this one, it's red, it's limited edition, FOMO got the better of me, and now there it is. And last but not least, the Sartory Billard. The Shunbun is pink (and the favorite and most worn watch), so it's there as an honorable mention.

Wow, nice sub-collection! My favorites are the cocktail time and the Shunbun. In pictures it seems to me as if the Shunbun looks more pink next to other red-hued items (clothing, wooden table, etc.) and almost silver in other conditions. Do you notice this as well?

I wish more watches did the sunburst red like the middle one. Grand Seiko loves their blood red / Fuji apple red, but I think I would get tired of blood red every day 😆 but sunburst or bright red I could do daily

Great collection. I feel you on having a hard time finding certain color dials. Green is my color and it can be up there with red watches in difficulty.
Cool theme, I love red, I am curious do you ever find red too intense or almost “too angry” sometimes to look at on a watch dial constantly?
Also the new limited edition Panerai Due limited to China boutiques is a gorgeous shaded fade of red and WR bumped to 50m. Gorgeous watch imho.
The Kamasu red Dail is also pretty attractive. It will likely be welcome in my collection soon.

Red often feels like a color watch companies are almost afraid of. Sadly SSK031K1 is an LE :/. And when it is used, it’s very often another gradient dial.
