Yes. Mine didn’t come with any gaskets either. I highly doubt they service such cheap movements, but it would surprise me if they did.

I was thinking about a swap. However I’d also like to change the case because I’m not too crazy about it.

For a beginner I would say eBay. I’m doing my first build soon and the parts are slowly arriving. You can find a variety of tools and parts for good prices.

Then there’s 3rd party websites like namoki watch mods which make quality parts but are a bit more pricey. If you’re willing to spend extra, the quality will be much better.
