Big rose. I avoid day date watches at all costs. Personal preference.

From the pictures I would say I like the look of the Big Rose a bit more. The Day Date is not a bad looking watch either but the Big Rose is the Winn for sure.

For a vintage looking watch, definitely the rose. However, for a more modern, sharp looking body style, I'd rather have the sleeker looking shield.

I get the love the big rose is getting,but if he isn't a crazy watch enthusiast I would recommend the daydate,would be my choice too,if its a poor man's rolex the other ones poor man's copy of cheapest rolex but with a big flower on it 🙄🤣OP that being 👍

Best person to answer it is your friend. He/she is the only one who can say which watch is really speaking to him/her.
The Big Rose is 98% perfect, but I feel they should have kept the rose and lost the stalk and petals - it's a bit much and intrudes too far down the dial, throwing off the balance.
... I've got to get out more.
