The question is in the title. What, in your opinion, is the most beautiful watch you’ve ever seen?
Mine is the CARTIER TORTUE MONOPOUSSOIR YELLOW GOLD in the picture.
This should be fun!

Piaget Altiplano Ultimate
cartier masse mystérieuse 😍
Simple man simple taste. Rolex 1926.
A buddy brought his custom DeBethune DB25 Starry Varius. The dial had an exact copy of the stars above his home on the date of his birth.
That Cartier is beautiful. ❤
The JLC Moonphase is one of the most beautiful watches I've ever seen
My 5e20 7A20 (1989). Ultimate in minimalist design. Jeweled movement. Cabochon crown. Even the screw heads in the movement are polished. Polished markers and pencil hands.
I love that watch but the white gold model is my preference.
One of these three hands down. Maybe a linen dial pie pan omega. I’ll probably add to this in a few..
I don't know why I love these watches as much as I do? I'm not a fan of skeleton dials but whenever I look at this watch it just leaves me with a feeling of awe. It's just flawless in its execution.
Perhaps it's not a watch of beauty aesthetically, more an example of supreme engineering precision.
I've always been attracted to rectangular watches, as well as gold watches with black dials, so I'd have to say that the rose gold Rolex Cellini Prince is probably the most beautiful watch that I've seen in person. I know that it's a pretty polarizing watch, and suspect that most people would not look like it as much as I do, but I absolutely love it.

A friend of mine collects Romain Gauthier watches, and has the Logical One. It's indeed a work of art.

I would love to have one but entry level RGs start at £35,000. That is a huge amount of money that I couldn't possibly spend on myself whilst happily married.
That's it settled, when the wife divorces me I'm getting one 😜
Vacheron Constantin Americain...
Probably not the most beautiful, but the first one that comes to mind.

Yeah, there's no doubt they are very pricey, and in a much different league than anything I have (or will ever have) in my collection. I'm pretty sure that both his Logical One and Insight Micro Rotor are 6 figure watches. His latest is the new "C" model, which he received in September. I haven't seen that one yet, but I know it was considerably less expensive, yet still quite a bit more expensive than any single watch in my own collection.
In your original comment, you mentioned:
I'd have to agree with that, but add that the level of hand finishing is probably as impressive as the engineering.
Owner bias but it has to be the Snowflake (for me).
My pursuit ended on the 7th of October 🙏🏻
It's basically one of the most "iconic" watches in my opinion, but the Cartier Santos is and always will be the most beautiful watch I have ever seen.

The non-aligned screws on that bracelet give me the ultimate OCD-creeps.
I could never wear nor own it for that fact alone. The roman numerals just put the icing on the not-for-me-cake

Lange 1 for me. I just love the 2 dials and big date.

I agree with you wholesale OP, although I prefer a slightly different flavour:
100% agree that the Cartier Tortue is gorgeous. Hands down it's THE most beautiful Cartier model and arguably across all watchmakers. I've wanted to see one in the metal ever since learning about it on the watch web and YouTube. The particular Tortue model that's on my "the Grail I'd would seek out when I win the lottery" list is the Cartier CPCP Tortue Minute Repeater which was extremely limited release (25 each in yellow, rose, and white gold). In particular, the Yellow Gold ref. W1538351.

That is a stunning watch. Effortlessly classy. Who'd have thought a Tortoise's shell would be the inspiration behind such an elegant watch design?
That´s a very difficult question....if I have to pick one it´s a watch I don´t own, the Globemaster in white....there is something about it I can´t put my finger on......when I stare at that watch....I just get totally relaxed and I completely unwind.....if that makes any sense...
Nice, my girlfriend takes al the pictures for MrWatchley ;)
