Seiko Explorer White Dial Inquiry
Does anyone know when the Seiko Explorer SBSC009 white dial with the orange GMT hand will be available in the US Domestic Market? I’ve seen it on Chrono 24 as well as eBay, but it looks like shipping + import taxes will be added as it seems to only be available in the Japanese market.

I’m pretty sure it’s a JDM exclusive, so it will not be released to the US market.
JDM exclusive, unless some company try to import them.
JDM I actually have a friend who lives in Japan, who sent me mine in early January when they were released still plenty available and not that hard to get there are some trusted sites out there. Great watch, I hate to say I feel the JDM have a little bit Better quality due to their primary customer base.

You know you’re probably right. And I should just probably order it from the Japanese market anyway because the quality will probably be a little bit better.

I have friends who have purchased JDM seikos from this eBay user and had no issues at great prices.
I found a few out there that were all about $599USD plus around $30 shipping. Great watch.

It won't be, it was a Japan-only limited edition. You can buy them, but you will need to import them.
I ordered one from a Japanese dealer (a dealer, not an individual) using a forwarding service, but they later canceled my order. To be clear, the dealer canceled, not the forwarding service.
There are no import fees in the US for watches under $800.

Ehh, maybe. My SBDC101 (SPB143) was the worst running watch I've ever had and the bezel alignment was atrocious.

It was my first JDM purchase just seems a little bit less rattly than my home buys clean dial Fixed Bezel so we’re good 😂
