An Indy Watch Crunch Collab

As some of you may know @Ichibunz and I fancy ourselves as builders in this space. After many posts and on Ichi's suggestion we thought "why not do a collab?!". And so we did!

After a few messages and alot of browsing for parts we finally agreed on a theme: the moon and stars. We agreed on some designs and picked out dials. But heres the thing due to some technical difficulties we were delayed about 6 weeks lol.

So within that time, Chris Ward decides to release their new moon phase and Celeste, which was pure coincidence!! Just happens to be similar to what we had come up with. Anywho, without further delay, here is my side of the deal, the moon dial:

The dial was a bit of a pain for both @Ichibunz and mine. On my end I had to figure out how to make "moondust". You can't see it as much in that pic, but here is the in-progress dial:

Image

In complete darkness you can see it on the dial. But it is very faint because I made the lume from scratch. All and all it looks pretty cool. We even managed to get a logo on the caseback, another mission itself.

So that's that! Check out Ichi's post to look at his!!

I havent decided what I'll do with mine yet. But it was really fun collabing with someone and @Ichibunz is a hoot if any of y'all had chatted with him in the past.

Stay true Crunchers!

This is awesome! Great collaboration and teamwork. And beautiful watches as well!

Is this a new series that's starting to form?? I can see many WC having great ideas that you might want to execute!

Or just start a new microbrand!

The will is there, but the tools and time need funding hahaha.

Have you ever heard of the crowd sourced watch project called, Lyrique? We should do a WC version based in American watch making talent!

I'm sure you could cobble up some builders on here. We're pretty international however, Canada over here 😉

Oh Canada. Well, we could do north American! Or not I'm American but based in Singapore, so we could just do something global and not themed on one country..... I wonder if I have the energy and time to organize this..... Or maybe we can pass the baton to @Max

What do you think of a WC watch, going beyond a collab?
