This is a pretty solid watch. Bought it for the travel convenience and 10sec/year accuracy. Came with some goodies too! Not the knife, that's just my trusty EDC.

The power of Tritium compels you!
They are great watches. If I had to sell all but kne of my watches, my SSNav would be the keeper.

I think we need a radioactive sign emoji for such occasions.
Heeeyyy we're Marathon twins
Hey Hector,
Congrats on your new watch (and scoring that sweet Canadian defstan strap).
I hope they launch an SSNav with their MaraGlo in the future 🤞🏻.

The tritium is awesome though. If you haven't tried a watch with it give it a go. It adjusts perfectly to all lighting situations IMO. Needs a full on replacement after 15-20 years but I think it's worth it.

I actually asked Marathon about a Maraglo SSNav last year and they said it's not planned.... That said who knows 🤣
With tritium you're golden for a decade to about 12 year then it's time for new tubes as they'll lose about 1/2 of their glow by then and almost all of it by 24 years.
Still, a service charge every decade ain't too bad

It’s kind of stupid but the reason I prefer MaraGlo is bec I am a little worried tritium will get flagged at airport security when it goes through x-ray 😅. I had a souvenir that was made from some kind of resin and I got delayed bec airport security couldn’t figure out what it was 🤷🏻.
That said, the idea of having perpetual lume is very cool.

Dang it! Haha I guess that means I’ll be forced to go tritium. The SSNav is one of the best looking pilot’s watches out there.
