How often do you wash/clean your watches? And how?

I use this max wilsdorf kit because the brush does an exceptional job on the bracelets, especially the DJ wirh the Jubilee :)

How do you do it with your non-water resistant watches?

I have been cleaning my Rolex and Omegas simply by using lukewarm water with a little liquid hand soap and a soft toothbrush - the type for young children. works for me this.

This type of thing I'd expect depends on your lifestyle and where you live. If you live in hot climate and sweat a lot maybe a deep clean would be needed

I like mine dirty …

They are cleaned by damp cloth when they are noticeably dirty. I have no idea where people get this neuroses about watches that are not water resistant. Spray on the cloth, not the watch. If it's not dripping wet and the watch doesn't have gaping crevices, it should be fine. Wipe dry.

I live in a humid, tropical country. After use, like @Mastiff, I just wash my timepiece with lukewarm water and a gentle soap. I only do the toothbrush thing perhaps every 2 months or so.

I usually wash a watch after I've worn it in the ocean or pool. Also after a workout etc. I stopped using soap as I've read/watched a number of pieces that soap can affect seals. I use a microfiber cloth to wipe watches down

Keeping them muck free to begin with is a start.  I wash mine with warm water and mild soap then dry with a soft towel.  Keeping them from getting really dirty to begin with is key.  If I am going to be sweating or wrenching on the car etc...I take my watch off.

Ahhh yes, the soap! Very good point.

I clean them every now and then with my shirt.

I rinse mine under the tap every evening, giving the nooks and crannies of the bracelet a rub, and then leave it to drip dry by the morning. No issues yet.

I occasionally shower, but only on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

I’m not sure whether I’m doing it right but I will usually bring my watch into shower after the day ends. …… Being efficient?

I use the same product and I rave about it to every watch nerd I come across. It’s now called the AIS ChronoPen. I went to buy a couple more of them and couldn’t find them and thought they went out of business. Luckily it was just a name change. Phenomenal product. to answer your questio: I wash my watches almost daily. If the watch has been worn, it gets a thorough cleaning. I rinse them off with RO or distilled water and then dry them with the enclosed cloth plus a micro cloth as well as a air dust can to get the water out from under the bezel, out of the end links as well as out of the difficult areas around the clasp.
