I can't offer up a reason as to why you didn't like the watch other than, the dream is very often more appealing & enticing than the reality. This can be applied to many different things in life. Perception & reality are very different things.
You did the right thing though. You saw it, tried it on & the reality didn't match what you thought it would. You avoided potential buyer's remorse. You'll find a new watch that does meet your expectations soon enough 👍
I love the Voutilainen Inverse, just one of a number of his watches that are truly exceptional. My favourite of his is the V-8R, a stunning, yet simple looking watch. Enjoy your Inverse, I'm sure it'll be an incredible watch to own & wear 👍
I'm a fan of Artem straps in general, even though they are at the high end of cost for the material used. I won't however go the whole hog & pay what they are asking for their loopless offering. I just feel that it's excessive & don't see the added value to justify the added cost.
I do love the latest colour available though, it's a beautiful match to my Grand Seiko;
I may well be pretty good at counting but I'm the last person to assist anyone in their decision to get rid of their watches. Never mention depreciation in my company, it'll see me asking for a defibrilator 🤒
You are in serious danger of growing up with nonsense talk like that 😂
Putting the sensible head on for a moment, I suppose it depends on which watch will get you closest to what you paid for them when you bought them. I know I got my first GS at a fraction of the retail price & I've lost 25% of what I paid for the Blue Snowflake. Perhaps the Longines sector dial will not lose as much as the GS?
