Bezel Screws Update......
I know for many of you out there in WC land the last couple of days have been upsetting & unsettling. The collective angst of the community has shaken morale to its very foundations. My news of the missing bezel screws of my Cartier Santos 100 has left many of you speechless, distraught & dismayed to the point of despair.
I want to publically thank all of you that have sent me comforting messages. Even bigger thanks to those that offered up their time to listen to me on the other end of a phone, babbling on like a child lost in a maze. I know that my loss has been taken particularly badly by my good friend @usccopeland
Although he felt I'd been dished a valuable lesson, he also wept uncontrollably at night whilst trying to sleep. His kind words, "your loss is my loss" were comforting. Both of us agreed this is the type of event you see on the news but never think it'll happen so close to home.
The upshot of numerous enquiries to a multitude of different sellers, companies & cowboys is that earlier this afternoon I received a wonderful 3 line email that said;
"Hi Chris, lovely to hear from you. I'm very well thanks. You've been messing around with your watches again, haven't you 😜 I'll order a full set of screws & post them on to you".

So please Crunchers, return to your homes, call off the search parties. Celebrate this news & live out this happy ending with great gusto & joy.
