Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Summer Blue
Well after repeatedly posting across a number of platforms that I think Omega has lost the plot recently, I then threw a self inflicted custard pie in my own direction & bought one of the new Seamaster Aqua Terra models.
I have to say that the colour of the dial is quite stunning & it does look & feel great on the wrist.
My recent feelings towards Omega I can compare to that of you discovering your wife has eaten the last of the salted caramel ice cream. You're raging. You let her know it. Play it cool for a while but eventually you relent at the promise of something sweeter 😀
I forgive you Omega & you're welcome to return to my bed anytime you wish.

I'm afraid after my ex-wife had eaten all the ice cream, all that I was left with was my clothes & my cds. Thankfully No 2 wife is lactose intolerant 😀
I saw that the other day in person; it’s one of the prettiest dials I’ve seen period, especially with the way it sparkles in the sun. The entire 75th anniversary Seamaster line is so well done, but this Aqua Terra 42 in particular stood out to me.

Thank you. I have to say that this Aqua Terra does feel like it's on a higher level than my other favourite watches. The colour is quite something in the sunlight.
Need to see this collection in the flesh. Maybe after my Seiko adventure.

Of the ones I’ve seen, they’re all great (I haven’t seen the Globemaster, the Ploprof, or the Deep Sea, though). The Aqua Terra 42 stood out, though, as different; I think it’s the combination of the AT42’s dial texture plus the special dial treatment and summer blue color. The other dials are flatter/simpler: still gorgeous, but just not as much going on.
Omega = Rolex quality that you can actually purchase. Beautiful piece.
