It looks weird and familiar. I am happy that this quartz and on a Velcro, so I am not immediately drawn to it.  However I think I would go with the Project Alaska homage.

I'm buying 16 of them!

@Omeganut , @Pascal , @oakenlander  To me, it is a weird strategy. It feels like the best restaurant in town has started to sell big macs. On one hand, it will be fantastic for MacDonald's but not so great for the fancy restaurant. Omega relies his reputation on luxury and human achievements, now Swatch relies on unpretentious, almost juvenile identity. I know for sure that for CAD 340.00 I am 100% in!!

I‘ll eat my hat if they don’t sell a collector’s special edition set that comes with the display suitcase.  Looking forward to the pics when you get it.  😜

Nah!  It'll be a great, fun, colorful watch.  Every single Moonwatch and Speedy fan will buy 1.  And it'll be a huge hit amongst non-watch nerds.  And those non-watch nerds will get exposed to the idea of the Moonwatch, and then fall into the rabbit hole, and years and years from now, they'll be tubby, middle aged, like me, and then spend ginormous amounts of money to get the real Moonwatch.

Its a Technicolor nightmare. RIP Speedy, your with the influencers now.

Omega needs to be careful not to make it too obvious who they belong to. 

I agree 100%, well except the eventual Moonwatch purchase.

It's a great way to Omega styling in people's hands at an affordable price. It might inspire people to actually save their pennies and buy a real Omega at some time. 

If I can get my hands on one at retail I will be buying one for sure.

These were my exact sentiments......it feels like when I discovered the Speedy Reduced for the first time.....so many friggin colors?!?!?!?!

While I am personally not a fan of any of the watches, if my either of my kids wanted one, I would move heaven and earth to buy them one (which could be part of the Omega x Swatch strategy?).

I am so pumped for this. My grail watch is a Speedmaster but it's out of reach for me. This is in my wheelhouse and I can't wait to add one or two to my collection.

If the intent of this collab is to try to appeal to more young people  by providing them with an affordable and fun entry level alternative to owning a SS or precious metal Speedy, then it would be imperative that they actually be obtainable. If they prove to be impossible to find at retail, they would simply be introducing potential new buyers to the frustration involved with trying to obtain the hyped models.  I suspect that they will end up very much like the Casio GA-2100 (CasiOak), which were initially very hard to obtain, but now seem to be readily available as supply seems to have caught up with demand.

I'm totally into it! Hoping for the Moon Mission, runner up either Mercury or Jupiter 😍 Makes for a great Speedy Beater if nothing else 😀 

For me, as a proud Speedy owner, this is great!! I think as the gap between both brands is so big, this won’t affect Omega value. At the same time I think this will bring more people into the hobby and hopefully into the speedys. Le’s see how it evolves 😃

And update... now available in México City... not far from home.... maybe a NWA for the weekend?

I think this is a brilliant move by both brands. I’m definitely going to buy one. I think this can fit in so many collections as an intro to the speedy or a speedy for people who werent ready to take the plunge. also just love all the colors

Yes. On the Swatch website there is a link under the MoonSwatch section that says, "find a store". Beware though, this is three months after the release and I went to the store in the Dubai Mall and there was a line of about 50 people. They hadn't had stock in over a week and didn't know when they'd get more. It is the wild wild west out there.
