The main reason is the superior movement built on the Tissot, which is a COSC-certified ETA 2824. That’s the highest level of accuracy for this movement, and is quite a technical achievement.
You have to decide if all that is of any meaning to you, though and if you’re ready to plonk an extra 450€ on the movement. All of us are different in that aspect.

If you can afford it, get the Tissot. It’s absolutely gorgeous: classic, timeless. It won’t look dated EVER.
