Hey everyone, my name is Simon, and I’m a student at UT-Austin. I’ve been a watch enthusiast for about 8 years, beginning after my grandfather gifted me a rose gold datejust 1601 (pictured) for my birthday. Looking forward to meeting you geeks and talking some watches!! 🙌🏻

Welcome! Love the connection with your grandfather gifting you a watch. My interest in watches is somewhat similar. My grandfather has had a white dial datejust with roman numeral dial for as long as I can remember, and I was always fascinated with the smooth sweep.... 20+ years later here I am addicted to a hobby with insane depth and great community.
