Lorier Astra - NWA - smaller but comfortable (thoughts?)
I fell in love with this watch after learning about the #lorier microbrand. It looked beautiful in every picture I saw. It’s actually even more beautiful in person. The bracelet is super comfortable and I feel like I’m not even wearing a watch.
The only problem I have is that I have a bigger wrist and I feel that it’s a little too smal on me. What do you think? I think it’s just a preference being that their watches are inspired by older watches. I’m used to wearing chunkier utility watches that are a bit heavier. After looking at the pics I took it looks fine with size.
My husband likes the look, and I think this will become more of a dress watch for me. Overall, it’s a great build. I’m looking forward to seeing how the case holds up.
What do you think? Too small or just right?

If you are used to bigger watches, wear it a bit and see if you can get used to it too.

It’s fine. Lorier watches have long lug-to-lugs so they wear bigger than most 36mm
For me it is spot on. Vintage vibes all the way. Give it half a year and all your other watches seem too big. (That is what happened to me)

Looks great! I tried on the white dial Astra at Intersect Atlanta and thought it seemed small (7.25” wrist) but looking at these pics and knowing your wrist size is making me second guess myself. And I love that cosmic blue-sad that it’s sold out right now 😢.
The support in this chain has also made me feel more comfortable about it. I am glad I am giving it a go!

Thank you. I was really intent on getting a #baltic hermetique, but then shifted to get this.
Also a solid option but personally I think you made the better choice with the Lorier. I like the contrasting shades of blue with the Astra vs the Hermetique’s black railroad tracks outer ring. Plus, the Astra is more versatile. Reminds me of a sporty GS design with its dauphine hands.

I wanted the white special release #baltic did but missed the window. I agree this is good.

I’m not used to such a tapered bracelet. I will say it’s very comfortable and it’s definitely growing on me. I like how thin the watch is.

That looks great! Where'd you source the jubilee? It does honestly look great, not sure if I like that or the flat link better!
Thanks. It is a uncle Seiko SARB033 jubilee bracelet. The end links are the original but I don’t really notice. I’m constantly swapping brackets and straps. It really changes the look of the watch ;) hope that I do helps.
