The blue dial and strap looks great! Rotor noise never bothered me. I like to know the mechanics are working. In the grand scheme of things the rotor noise it’s not loud though it is subjective. In terms of weight changing to a bracelet can add mass.
Thanks. It is a uncle Seiko SARB033 jubilee bracelet. The end links are the original but I don’t really notice. I’m constantly swapping brackets and straps. It really changes the look of the watch ;) hope that I do helps.
Just right! You may need to get use to the midcentry average size if you are use to modern utility style watches. Photo is my Astra with e white dial an Jubilee bracelet ;)
Yea it can be a little bit of a bummer. No one really ever notices my watches. The only people I see who where watches are smart watches snd maybe a few quarts watches.
My suggestion is to pass one 1 watch when your child is 18 to see if they have any interest. And in your Will or when you pass you can hand down the rest of your watches so it will still be in the family.
I own this exact watch. The stock photos do not do it justice. The reflection of light on the different texture areas (main dial, seconds sub dial, numerals and chapter ring) really pop out. If the hours where not numerals you may have a harder time looking at the time.
